What are Terms and Conditions?

The Terms of Service govern your use of Adept Group LLC’s website and the AdeptEPR AI tool. By accessing the services, you agree to abide by these terms. The AI tool is for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice. Users must be 18+, act lawfully, and not misuse the tool. All intellectual property belongs to Adept. Feedback may be used by Adept freely. The services are provided “as is” without warranties. Liability is limited, and terms may change. Pennsylvania law governs these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Adept Packaging website or the AdeptEPR AI tool (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Services.

2. Description of the Services

Adept Group LLC (“Adept Packaging,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a software platform that includes the AdeptEPR AI tool, a conversational AI assistant designed to help users explore topics related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations and packaging compliance.

The tool may be in prototype or beta form and is provided for informational and evaluative purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to enter into these Terms to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services.

• Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.

• Rely on outputs as legal or regulatory advice.
   

You remain solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon any information provided by the AdeptEPR AI tool.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services—including the underlying software, content, design, and data—are owned by Adept Packaging or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our express written consent.

6. Feedback

You may provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas related to the Services. By submitting such feedback, you grant Adept Packaging a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and incorporate it into our products and services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The AdeptEPR AI tool may generate responses that are incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You understand and agree that you use outputs at your own risk, and that the tool does not constitute legal or compliance advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADEPT PACKAGING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms is limited to $100.

9. Modifications to the Services or Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms or the Services at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the website or email. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause. You may discontinue use at any time. Upon termination, all provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, liability) shall remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
